Situated on the edge of the picturesque Peak District and midway between the towns of Derby and Nottingham is the lovely Beechwood Park holiday complex.

There is a selection of twelve well appointed log cabins to choose from with either two bedrooms or three bedrooms sleeping 4 or 6 people respectively.The three bedroom Kingfisher lodge is the largest and has a master bedroom with en-suite facilities as well as a family bathroom.

This is an ideal spot for couples or families to have a wonderful relaxing holiday. The park is a great place for anglers as there are six lakes to choose from all stocked with a variety of fish including carp, chub and roach. There is also a children's go kart track in the corner of the park suitable for eight to fourteen year olds.

The park is positioned opposite the striking Elvaston Castle Country Park with its lovely Grade II listed gardens. In addition to anglers this is a great base for mountain bikers and walkers of all abilities as the Peak District National Park is on the doorstep and has hundreds of miles of footpaths and trails to explore. Call at a traditional pub in one of the many picturesque villages for a hearty meal and a real ale.

Other attractions in the area include the National Watersports Centre at Holme Pierrepont where visitors can have a go at kayaking, wakeboarding or even white water rafting. The historic Chatsworth House is an ideal destination for a day trip, and has provided locations for many film and television series.
