Boothman Park Lodges
Lancashire, England

Details for Boothman Park Lodges

Lodges set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.
Wonderful traditional lodges.

Located near the village of Barley in the Pendle borough of Lancashire is the peaceful holiday site of Boothman Park. The park stands beneath the impressive Pendle Hill, the largest hill in the Pennines.

The park is a great spot for walkers, cyclists and lovers of the great outdoors to base themselves for a relaxing break or longer holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our well constructed and maintained log cabins are traditionally built from sustainable timber from the Boothman Park estate. Each cabin can accommodate up to six people, having one master double bedroom and a room with two sets of adult bunk beds. There is a kitchen area with basic cooking equipment, small fridge and toaster. The park generates its own electricity which is available for two hours in the morning and four hours in the evening so guests are advised to bring their own torches. The water supply is from a spring so needs to be boiled before consuming. Guests may bring their own battery operated televisions and radios as there are none in the cabins as we like to keep the park and surrounding woodland free of noise pollution.

There is excellent fishing available on site and other facilities include archery and grass track mountain bike riding. There are plenty of walks and cycle trails through the surrounding estate. Bird watchers and lovers of wildlife can see many species here including the resident deer which live on the estate and the surrounding Forest of Bowland. The nearby Pendle Inn serves food and fine ales and is just a few minutes away, as is the Barley Mow pub / restaurant. The nearby town of Nelson has supermarkets, banks and post office for any supplies...
