Situated in the heart of the scenic Snowdonia National Park at Gwyndd are our two well appointed log cabins. Having a marvellous position on a wooded hillside and set on the well established Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, the cabins have great views of the stunning Rhinog Mountain Range.

The cabins are well furnished and equipped to a high standard and sleep up to six people. There are two bedrooms, a double room and a bunk bed room and also a sofa bed in the living area. Each cabin also has a travel cot and a high chair for infants. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. The site has a play area for the children with slides and climbing frames, a laundry and drying room perfect for if the weather turns wet and Mountain Bike hire is available so guests can explore some of the nearby trails and walks. The reception area also includes a shop and off licence stocking basic foodstuffs and just a few minutes walk from the site is the Rhiw Goch Inn, a traditional Welsh pub serving real ales and hearty meals.

This is a wonderful spot to get away from it all and enjoy all that the great outdoors can offer. Walkers of all abilities can explore the scenic countryside in the surrounding area. There is ample opportunity to have a go at bird watching, horse riding, fishing and even white water rafting in the immediate area.
The lodge makes a great bases for walkers of all abilities, there being miles of routes around the hills and lakes in this picturesque area. The village of Portmeiron is just a short drive away and well worth a visit. Or have a trip on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway through the beautiful Snowdonia countryside. Caernarfon with its wonderful castle is also a short drive away.
