Five Course Fishing Lakes

Situated near to the village of Stowbridge in the heart of North Norfolk midway between King's Lynn and Downham Market is the tranquil Woodlakes holiday site. Covering sixty six acres of lovely countryside and having five fishing lakes this is a perfect base to explore the delightful county of Norfolk.

Anglers will love the choice of fishing available with plenty of species to try to catch including carp which are up to forty pounds in weight, bream, tench, rudd roach and others. Our well constructed Norwegian log cabins can sleep either four, five or six people in comfort. The living areas in each of the cabins are designed to be light and airy and are tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas and include a colour television. Each cabin has a fully fitted kitchen complete with microwave oven so guests can enjoy a self catering holiday. Outside is a wooden verandah, the perfect place to relax and take in the views across the lakes. Each cabin has its own private swim in front of the verandah for those wanting to fish. On site is a shop stocking all the basics for guests.

The stunning coast of North Norfolk is less than an hour's drive away and is a great area for walking and cycling. Visit the town of Cromer and sample some freshly caught crab and then stroll along its Grade II listed pier, or head to the unspoilt beaches of Hunstanton and Heacham. The royal residence of Sandringham is close to the site and its ground floor rooms and surrounding estate are open to the public to explore and enjoy. Pick up a bargain from the market town of Downham Market or take a look around the historic town of King's Lynn with its medieval churches and 15th century guildhalls.
